This mix is full of deep and pastel colours. Cut the flowers to encourage more blooms. Hummingbirds and Bees love the rich colour and nectar of these show stoppers. Delphinium makes a stunning statement in any garden or bouquet.
Instructions
Chill seeds for 24 to 48 hours before sowing. Sow in a paper towel and place in the fridge or chill the package for 1 week before sowing 3 mm deep in early Spring indoors. Transplant after first true set of leaves appear. Once established use mulch to insulate, provides nutrients and to marks the area when the plant dies back into the ground. Easy to grow. For the best return crop results, it is best that you deadhead only after the flowers and parts of the plant have died back. Deadheading early takes away the perennials' chance to reabsorb the nutrients from its leaves, which it stores back into the root system providing abundant energy for next season's ultimate splendour. Germinates 7 to 21 days.
