Instructions
Sow the seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost date in your area. If sowing outdoors you must wait until the outdoor night time temperatures are at least 20 degrees. Gently scatter Joey seeds evenly over the soil surface. Lightly cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, about 1/8 inch thick. 7- 20 days germination. These appreciate heat and moisture to germinate. Use a heat pad or cover with clear plastic to create a greenhouse effect. Transplant the seedlings outdoors after the last frost date, once they have developed a few sets of true leaves and are large enough to handle.
