Seed Details
The Yellow Pear tomato is beloved by gardeners and tomato enthusiasts for its distinct look and delightful taste, making it a garden and culinary favorite. Its bright yellow, pear-shaped fruits grow on indeterminate plants, which continue to produce fruit all season long until frost. This allows for an extended harvest period, with plants yielding a large number of sweet, mellow-flavored tomatoes. These vibrant fruits not only add color to your garden but also enhance a variety of dishes. They’re perfect for fresh eating, salads, garnishes, or preserves, capturing their sweetness for year-round enjoyment. To ensure a successful harvest, plant seeds indoors before the last frost, provide full sunlight, keep the soil moist, use supports, and prune regularly.
Instructions
Great trustworthy producer. Bears fruit all season. Sow indoors 1 to 2 cm deep, 2 to 3 months before transplanting outside. After seedlings have set 2 sets of true leaves transplant to small containers until the plant is established. It is now safe to transplant it once more to its final home. Containers work well for many tomatoes, allowing them to be moved in inclement weather. Outdoor sowing requires direct sowing after the last frost and thin to suit your space. Good drainage. Full Sun (6 to 8 hours) and even moisture are recommended for best results.
