This Camas Lily Was sustainably harvested from private property. The flowering camas lily has beautiful, elegant star-like, periwinkle colored buds and grows up to 60 cm tall
Instructions
Seed must be stratified for 40 to 100 days for best germination results. Camas seed germinate best when sown outside in fall through early winter, October through early January for best results. Cold-moist stratification is needed in order to break down the seed coat and encourage early Spring seed germination. Stratification can also be performed in winter, in a cold frame after sowing seed in containers or germination trays in the late fall. Camas seedlings look like small blades of grass in the first few years while the leaves feed bulb growth in the ground. Camas Lily germinates in 1 - 6 months at 15°c, but it can be erratic
