Seed Details:
A fast producing, super sweet snap peas that grow on bushy 2ft (65cm ) vines. Perfect for small gardens and container growing. Has excellent resistance to viruses and powdery mildew. Prolific producer that appreciates being staked for bigger harvests.
Instructions:
Direct sow 1 to 2 cm deep when the earth can be worked, or start indoors and transplant in early Spring. Germinates in 7 to 10 days.
Habitat:
Well-drained soil and mulch to assist in cooler roots and weed control. Important tip: When planting your peas avoid planting near garlic or onions as it will inhibit the growth of vining legumes. Peas appreciate being planted with or near carrots, beets, turnips, radish, cucumber, corn and all herbs.
Historic Uses:
Peas are also a popular source of nutrients, like niacin, iron, vitamins A and C, and several B vitamins.
