These are a great choice for smaller gardens.Vigorous bush plants that are slow to start but also boast heavy,delicious yields worth waiting for. this dwarf variety produces 3" juicy pods with 6 to 8 plump peas each.Also grown for its wilt resistance.Stays tender and sweet even when mature and holds well to its vine.Its all in the name and its Marvelous!

Instructions

Direct sow works best at 3 to 5 cm deep when earth can be worked. Can be started indoors for transplant in early Spring. Germinates 7 to 10 days.

Well-drained soil and mulch to assist in cooler roots and weed control. Important tip: When planting your peas avoid planting near garlic or onions as it will inhibit the growth of vining legumes. Peas appreciate being planted with or near carrots, beets, turnips, radish, cucumber, corn and all herbs. Keep soil moist. It is best to avoid heavy watering during flowering, which may interfere with the pollination process .Be sure to rotate your pea crops every year.

Peas are also a popular source of nutrients, like niacin, iron, vitamins A and C, and several B vitamins.
