Great cut flower with a sweet vanilla scent. Excellent choice for shadier beds. Native to damp meadows, marshes and stream banks. This plant prefers rich soil but will grow well in almost any soil. Plants are topped with eye catching flower heads in reds, pink and purples on tall straight stems. Butterflies and hummingbirds adore this plant and you will find they visit the blooms regularly. Blooms mid to late summer.

Instructions

Germination is 20 - 30 days. Stratify for at least 3 weeks or direct sow in early fall. Sow 1 to 3 cm deep.

If you have chosen the Free Shipping option, we put your order into the Canada Post regular letter mail system in 3 to 5 business day. Delivery time after that is dependent on Canada Post, which can range from 3 to 12 days.

Eg: 3 days would be an order that is local or within BC. 10 to 12 days reflects orders in the rest of Canadian provinces. Order delivery may be delayed when Canada Post is on strike.
